Before you start, there's a few things you should know.

The goal of each challenge is to find a text string in the format DDC{some-message-here}. Submit it under the appropriate task in the challenges page to get your points.

The challenges are marked with different categories which indicate what the challenges are about.

Cryptography: The study of ciphers, secure communication and finding weaknesses to decipher messages.

Web Exploitation: Exploit websites and services to bypass authorization, find hidden data and more.

Forensics: Digital detective work in storage media, network logs and other collections.

Reverse Engineering: Picking apart programs to understand how they work.

Pwn/Binary Exploitation: Find security holes in local binary files and exploit them remotely.

Misc: A broad category for unconventional challenges that may involve scripting, automation, logic puzzles, OSINT, steganography, or creative problem-solving across multiple domains.

Boot2Root: Gain access to a target machine and escalate privileges step by step until you obtain root or administrator access.
